White Car Panel Re-Spray Bristol
X-Dent were asked by a used car dealer in Bristol if we could colour correct this badly re-sprayed panel. That’s an easy repair when you’ve got a colour scanner on board your mobile car body repair van – so of course we said yes!
On arrival, I scanned the car’s colour with our colour scanner, uploaded the information into the computer program and was given the exact paint formulation, which I could then mix up immediately on the van. It’s a great bit of technology and always finds the best possible colour match.
Using our water based paint system it takes 3 or 4 coats to cover the damaged area and then a further 1 or 2 coats to blend it into the panel. The whole panel then had 2 coats of high solid clear lacquer to give it the shine and required finish.
The after image shows what a great match it was and now this used car is ready to be put up for sale.
